The Bridge Program
Limited Capacity seats available

A comprehensive overview of the Burlington High School Bridge Program. Goals of the program will be reviewed. Staff will discuss game plans, transition plans, coping modules, test taking in Bridge, etc. Teachers will have the opportunity to ask questions related to the program. Mental health trends seen in the high school will also be discussed.

Creating Guidance-Related Screencasts (MSMS and BHS Guidance Counselors)
In order to more effectively show students how to use Naviance, The Common App and the Scholarship America websites, especially, counselors will learn how to make screencasts using Jing and QuickTime. Counselor will explore how to create 2-3 screencasts which could be shared with students in multiple ways (the blog, Google classroom, email, etc.).

Starting a Service Learning Club (For All Grades)
Service learning is NOT community service. Service learning IS a teaching strategy that integrates service in the community with classroom curriculum, allowing students to see communities as places of learning.
